The Parent Teacher Organization for Samoset Pre-K, Bennett & Priest St. is comprised of parents that care for and want to be a part of their children's educational experience, want to join the school community, and like to help teachers and staff when needed. Mothers, fathers, legal guardians, those who stay at home, those who work full-time, parents with one child or several, are all welcome and urged to join. There is no set schedule for PTO involvement, nor is your interest regarded as a steadfast commitment. Any time that you volunteer is greatly appreciated. Please join our monthly meetings. A babysitter will be on site to look after any children that join us as well. We look forward to seeing you there!

- Fast Track Fundraising Magazine Subscriptions
- Hannaford Helps Schools - Purchase Partcipating Products from 9/6-12/6 and earn money for our schools. *Samoset PreK please place in Priest or Bennett Slots at the supermarket checkout all monies are divided equally in the end*

- Target Red Card Rewards for Education

It’s time to start clipping those Box Tops, Campbell’s Labels for Education, Nestle Pure Life Bottle Labels & Tyson A+ Labels!
The class at each school that collects the most from now to Dec. 21st will win a surprise! Please place them in a zip lock bag & write your child’s teachers name on the front. Drop them off at the school or send them in via backpack. Its is helpful if you separate them by type and write a count on the outside of the bags. Last year we earned over $500 from the Box Top program and over 2000 points in the Campbells program providing the schools with some extra classroom supplies. Lets see if we can exceed those totals this year! Ready, Set, Clip!!!

Throughout the year the PTO will be sending home information about fundraising. We conduct fundraisers in various ways, from traditional catalog ordering, to rebate programs such as Box Tops for Education, to Family Fun Nights at local businesses such as Friendly's Restaurant. We want to emphasize that monies raised are put to use in creating enrichment programs for our children and helping with "classroom extras" that are greatly appreciated by the teachers and students alike. ...................................................................................

Our schools will receive 40% profit on every ticket purchased. Money raised will be used to enhance playgrounds, add much needed picnic benches at Samoset, continue maintaining the Bennett Grounds including purchasing much needed mulch for the playground, assisting the Priest Street Playground Revitalization & Safety Project which includes fencing the Priest Street Playground & much much more!

Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grant
The PTO is VERY EXCITED to report that we have been awarded the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant from the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF). This $5,000.00 grant was awarded towards our “School Playground Revitalization and Safety” project, slated for the Priest Street School grounds. Our grounds committee has been diligently working to bring their wonderful plan for Priest Street School to reality. We couldn’t be more pleased and look forward to seeing the good that this grant will do. |
