What is the District Capacity Project (DCP)?
The District Capacity Project is an initiative of the Rennie Center for Education which brings together labor and management in school districts to work in unison to improve student achievement. The DCP team meets monthly throughout the school year. Please look at the website to see ways we are working together and achieve more through our partnership. If you have any questions of the DCP team, members and their contact information are listed below. You can also email the DCP team if you are a LPS staff member through the LPS email system. What is the Professional Resource Network (PRN)?
The Professional Resource Network is an enhanced option of Leominster's teacher leadership initiative that has been developed by the DCP team. The PRN provides building based resources to classroom teachers they can acess, as needed, for the improvement of instructional practice in the classroom. The term p.r.n. is a medical abbreviation meaning "when necessary". The network has been established for resources to be available to teachers, as required.
