Fallbrook PTO

The Fall Brook PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is an organization which brings teachers, parents, and administrators together to positively impact, support and enhance the overall learning environment at Fall Brook Elementary School. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the school’s cafeteria. Child care is provided. The PTO Board is elected each year to represent the organization and facilitate the many functions necessary as an organization. The Fall Brook PTO is an incorporated entity and is required to adhere to by-laws that are submitted to the state. The by-laws are available at any time for parents, teachers, and administrators to review. One of the main functions of the PTO is to raise funds to provide the students with additional educational opportunities that they may not enjoy due to budgetary constraints. Funds raised assist with field trips, cultural events, and family events. In addition, funds raised support larger items such as the playground and scholarships. We would greatly appreciate constructive feedback and support to make the Fall Brook community welcoming and successful for the benefit of the students. We are pleased and honored to be part of the Fall Brook PTO and look forward to a great school year!

Thomas Pecorelli Scholarship
The Thomas Pecorelli Scholarship is named in memory of Thomas Pecorelli, who was a passenger on American Flight #11 which crashed into one of the World Trade Towers on September 11, 2001. The scholarship money was raised through basketball games between the staff of Fall Brook Elementary and the staff of Samoset Middle School from the years 2002 through 2005. Thomas Pecorelli $1,000 Scholarship Fall Brook and Samoset Schools Tom was on American Flight #11, the first plane to crash into one of the WTC towers on that most terrible of days, 11 September 2001. Tom was born in Worcester and lived on Debbie Drive in Leominster and attended Fall Brook School before moving to Newburyport MA. From the time he was 12 years old, Tom worked at the local Newburyport cable company with videos. He even had his own kid's video game show for a time. Tom took the camera out more often than anyone else did, and as his class historian, he recorded many of their NHS activities. His effort was tireless and done with competence and with a keen eye. Tom had an engaging personality that spilled over into his work and all that he did, and he made it fun. From NHS, Tom went to Northern Essex Community College, then to Westfield State. For his final two years, he attended U Mass, Amherst, where he majored in Communications. Pursuing his dream to work in television, he migrated to Florida with one of his sisters and began his TV career with WEVU News, an ABC affiliate in Fort Myers. From there he went to Tucson, Arizona, where he worked for another local station, and then in 1996 he went to LA to join the Fox Network when it began in 1996. He was a sports cameraman who loved to act and did walk-ons on a variety of Fox Network programs, Talk Soup and E! included. A great success, Tom loved what he did. It was always just what he wanted to do. Tom's story is the story of the American Dream. He had a vision, a loving family, support from his peer group, and he worked hard. His success was well earned and he was highly respected by his colleagues at the Fox Network and in all the places he worked. This scholarship is for a student who has attended either Fall Brook School or Samoset School and is planning on majoring in the Communications and/ or Broadcasting Field. Fall Brook PTO Scholarship
Parents of seniors, The Fall Brook PTO is offering one $1000 Scholarship to a former Fall Brook Student who is graduating from high school this year. The guidance office at LHS has applications or you may print a copy and forward it to the LHS GUIDANCE OFFICE. Click Here for the Scholarship Application.
